New Customer Address Defaults to Local State
When creating or editing a customer, the address State field now defaults to the state configured on your store's location (US, or Provinces for Canada, and Australia), rather than starting blank and requiring a scroll through a 50-item drop-list every time. The field remains fully editable for out-of-state or international customers, and applies wherever a customer address is captured, including the Register, Customer module, and Work Orders.

Fixed

Customers Without Marketing Consent Incorrectly Marked as Opted In
We fixed an issue where checking a customer's marketing consent status would automatically create an opted-in record if none existed, allowing marketing emails to be sent to customers who had never actually consented. Customers must now give consent before the system will send marketing emails.
